Philanthropy has played a vital part in shaping Bedford School over the years. Generations of boys have benefited from the generosity of others, who have enhanced the School in all areas.

Bedford School Foundation is a separate charitable company which was set up in early 2003 to support the School by developing strong relationships with alumni and friends of the School and to raise funds for various projects including capital development and scholarships. Funds are raised through major gifts, regular giving, legacy bequests and single gifts. Gifts from UK, US and Canadian tax payers are very tax efficient.

The Foundation works with all groups within the Bedford School Association to benefit the School and to enhance the educational experience which this historic institution provides. The Foundation celebrates the heritage of the last four hundred and fifty years, but at the same time plays a key role in preparing the School for the challenges of the future.
