Canadian Friends of Bedford School

We are delighted to announce that the Canadian Friends of Bedford School (CFBS) was set up in 2010 and is officially registered with the Canada Revenue Agency. We hope that the following pages will provide you with an outline of the CFBS, its aims and, of course, how you can be involved in supporting both Bedford School and its boys.

The CFBS has been set up to support programmes of an educational nature. The funds raised by the CFBS may not be used for capital projects outside of the Trustees’ control, but can be allocated for scholarships, school teacher grant programmes, student and teacher exchanges, as well as to provide educational related goods such as teaching aids and supplies (books, computers, musical instruments, sports equipment etc.).

Programmes taking place in Canada will be implemented directly by the Canadian Trustees or via their appointed agents elsewhere. The CFBS has appointed the Bedford School Trust as their agent in the UK. Programmes and projects may therefore be implemented by their agent whilst remaining under the direction of the Canadian Trustees.
