OB Football Club
Over the last few years, the OB Club Football Club has successfully put out 2 teams against the schools 1sts and 2nds. This year went one better and put out three sides to compete against the School XIs. Currently, we only have recognised fixtures in our annual matches against the School, but, there is certainly opportunity to broaden the fixture list, if there is sufficient demand.
The annual games, which, this year, fall on Saturday 16th March during the final weekend of the Easter Term, includes three teams made up of OBs who have left school within the past two years (2011 and 2012) to play their younger former peers. It is organised by OBFC’s Secretary, Daniel Walker and does promise to be a highly entertaining and adrenaline fuelled day.
All who are interested in playing can confirm their availability to Daniel Walker or alternatively to the OB Club Office the matches will be followed by a drinks reception where all OBs from across the sports matches can meet.
Although, football is not yet recognised as a major sport at the School, it will always be a popular sport amongst our alumni and we really do hope you continue to come back and play.
