01 OB DVP Devon and Cornwall Lunch
  DVP David Jones has arranged a fascinating visit to a Fairground Heritage Centre followed by a lunch at Lifton Hall Hotel. Online booking now available.
09 Remembrance Chapel Service / Coffee
  The service will take place 10.30am-11.30am.
15 Rugby Lunch, Colts v Radley, Bedford School
  Support the School when they play Radley at home and join us for lunch - this event is open to OBs, current and past parents, staff and friends of the School. 1pm start. Register your attendance with Bev Marshall
17 Oxbridge Interview Evening
  The School is keen to prepare students as best as possible for Oxbridge/equivalent international univisities, or for Medicine, Dentistry or Vet Science courses by holding realistic mock interviews for current boys. If you think you may the necessary subject expertise (subjects include Medicine, Law, Engineering, Physics, Biological Sciences, PPE and numerous more) and interviewing experience and can offer your time on this day, please find more information and list of subjects here, and fill in this form to offer your help. Thank you.
19 St Cecelia's Day Concert
  At this annual showcase concert, all the major ensumbles will be performing, including the First and Second orchestras, School Band, Brass Ensemble, Dance Band and Percussion Ensemble. It promises to be an action-packed night! 7.30pm in the Great Hall, admission free.
21 OB Club DVP Conference
  UK and international DVPs are invited to arrive from 12.00pm, with an informal light lunch at 12.30pm, to share ideas, recommendations, queries and issues, at the Royal College of Surgeons, London. We are confident that this will be a helpful and information resource for all DVPs attending, whether you have just taken over the role or have been one for a number of years and are looking for new ideas. We will be finished by 4.30pm, giving you time to get ready before the Annual Dinner later in the evening. Please register your attendance with us.

21 Richard Palmer Memorial Lecture and Drinks
  The Bedford School community will be reflecting on and celebrating Richard Palmer's 29 years of service to the School through his two great passions: Larkin and Jazz. we mark his life through a lecture, which is to be delivered by Professor James Booth of Hull University. Professor Booth is a Larkin scholar and writer of the acclaimed 'Phillip Larkin: Life, Art and Love'. The lecture is to be followed by a drinks reception and jazz performances. 28 OB London Business Networking Forum
  This time we are delighted to be hosted by Phillip Hine (77-88) and his wife Sam, at Cornflake's amazing Smart APP-artment, an iPad-controlled, designer-styled experience centre, where you can road-test the very latest technology. 30 OB DVP Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Visit to Bletchley Park
  This is an exciting opportunity to explore Bletchley Park, known as 'Home of the Code Breakers', near Milton Keynes. It played a vital role in World War II, most importantly in deciphering the Enigma and Lorenz codes. There will be an arrival coffee, tour, lunch, and a talk by OB Niall Creed (70-79) who has been involved with Bletchley Park for many years as a volunteer and has conducted a huge amount of research into the Park's links with Bedford and the impact of WW2 on the town. More details and online booking will be available once plans are finalised in due course.

27 OB Dinner for those who served and worked in Iraq and Afghanistan
  As the drawdown of British Forces takes place in Afghanistan we will recognise and thank all OBs who have served in these two conflicts since 2001 with a Dinner. If you are an OB from any of the three services, regular or reservist, goverment officials or NGOs, or have worked in the area 'nation-building', please book your place. The Dinner is free for the OB and up to two of their guests (additional guests are £22+£1 booking fee). The Dinner will take place in the Great Hall, Bedford School. Dress code Black Tie/Mess Dress, and medals.

  We are looking for OBs and parents who would like to come along as career representatives to chat informally to current students about your career experiences and answer questions about your industry. In past years we have been delighted with the range of careers represented, and feedback from the boys is always fantastic - they get a lot of enthusiam and advice from this evening.   This old boys amateur golf tournament – 64 public schools; 640 competitors in all – is a fantastic annual fixture. Contact OB Golf Society Secretary Iain Pratt for information about the OB Golf Society and this event. Supporters are welcome!

  Join us for a visit to these Cambridge Colleges and for tea and Evensong. Online booking now available.
23 DVP Bristol, Gloucester and Somerset Visit to Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust
  OBs and their guests are invited to meet at 11am to enjoy a tour of the wetlands to view the birds and their young, followed by lunch. After lunch, there will be a second tour. Please register your interest with DVP Richard Shorrock (49-53).

05 OB Rugby Sevens Tournament
  After a very successful day in 2014, run by OB Lawrence Coward, we will be running the tournament again in 2015! Play or just come along to spectate in the morning, enjoy a lunch, and then stay on to watch the first School 1st XV match of the year at home in the afternoon.
